The best pitches overlook the shingle beachfront. But don’t pack a windbreak if you’re planning on taking a front seat.
Together with awnings, they’re not allowed to obscure the view for those at the back.
This site is particularly good for dogs with some wonderful walks (check non-dog beach areas during summer).
It isn’t brimming with kiddy extras. If the children can keep themselves entertained onsite, days out are a pure joy.
The Broads are just 30 minutes away. The safari park Africa Alive and Pleasure Wood Hills Theme Park very close. There’s also good pub and restaurant within a few minutes walk of the park. Morrison’s is within a 10 minute drive.
The fish and chip van arrives between 5pm-6pm on a Friday.
Lowestoft and Southwold are within a short drive. There’s a footpath leading to Southwold for those who like a good hike.
