What is cabbageMedia?
A news, PR and media-training agency -
set up in 1997.
What is thamesNews?
The cabbage news desk based in Essex and east London.
How is your work split between PR and journalism?
Most of our work is by its very nature journalistic,
with an overwhelming emphasis on
story telling rather than straight
reportage.
About 30 per cent of our work is split
between training and PR. cabbageMedia employs its own in-house staff
as well as the region's very best freelance journalists,
photographers and trainers.

publicity in our local paper?

Is there more to PR than getting my business story
published?
Media exposure is just one part of a comprehensive
marketing strategy. Inexpensive, good quality web design,
promotional material, branding, community interaction, events,
effective advertising and recommendation are other key elements. A
good service or product is fundamental, but if no one knows you're
out there pack up and go home.
Do you buy news stories
and features?
Much of our work involves selling human
interest stories. Tales of triumph over tragedy are the
most sought after (contrary to popular belief). National mag's and newspapers are
our main clients. Your story could be worth £100s, perhaps even
£1,000s.
Do you only work in Essex and east London?
Anywhere. But mainly the UK and mainland Europe.
How much do you charge for PR and training?
See out pricing guide at the link below. Ring for a more
detailed quote or a free consultation.
You offer free services to certain organisations.
How do I find
out if I qualify?
We offer free help to many charitable
and public agencies, particularly those whose work involves
protecting, promoting or enhancing the natural environment. Call
07947 160007 or e-mail to find out more.
